This session will discuss the application of sexual history taking for the purpose of HIV/STI screening, prevention, and treatment. Clinicians and other providers will understand how this data can be used to provide referrals to HIV prevention services.

• Discuss the importance of sexual history taking for the purpose of HIV/STI/Viral hepatitis testing, prevention, and treatment.
• Identify the benefits and challenges of electronic based sexual history taking and direct questioning sexual history taking.
• Discuss the importance of clinic wide messaging and interventions to increase patient centered engagement in STI screening, testing, treatment and follow-up.
