Trauma Informed Care in the Dental Setting

Objectives:
- Provide an overview of the approach used by a Part F
Community-Based Dental Partnership (CBDP) to integrate/implement
trauma-informed care into the program
- Identify the key assumptions and principles of the U.S. Department
of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Trauma-Informed Approach
- Provide participants with concrete examples of trauma-informed
practice strategies to enhance their individual dental care delivery
