Topic: The Psychological Implications of COVID-19 on People of Color
living with HIV/AIDS

Learning Objectives:
· Describe the mental, emotional, and behavioral impact of COVID-19
on People of Color (including special considerations for People with HIV).
· Discuss how the pandemic exposed racial and ethnic disparities in
accessing behavioral health care.
· Discuss strategies we can use to help our patients discuss,
identify, and effectively manage their mental health during the
pandemic and beyond.
This program will be of interest to physicians, physician assistants,
nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers,
case managers, and mental health practitioners. Other disciplines are
also welcome to attend.
